This traffic controller course will cover effective planning and management traffic control at the work zone and public safety. Attendees will learn proper management for traffic control and road safety as well as proper planning based on previous case studies.

At the end of the programme, you will be able to:

• carry out proper management for traffic control, safety or road users including the pedestrians
• have a basic understanding of safety as well as the LTA Code of Practice for Traffic Control & Implementations

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

• be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) level 2 (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
• be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 2 (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
• be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 2; and
• be medically fit

• Identify LTA Code of Practice Traffic Control at Work Zone and relevant Safety Acts and Regulations.
• Identify the hazard and safe work practices on road work.
• Identify the Traffic Safety Signage / Traffic Control Devices and usage.
• Perform effective lane closure on road work operation.
• Perform Traffic Control Task.

Based on the successful completion of the course and assessment, a Safety Pass from Wong Fong Academy Pte Ltd will be awarded to the trainee.
