Learning Outcome

-The learners are able to interpret the NDT methods for Confined Space Inspection/Investigation and its corresponding codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.

-The learners are able to evaluate the NDT methods for Confined Space Inspection/Investigation

-The learners able to apply safety precautionary measures to operate a confined space drone.

-The learners able to manoeuvre the confined drone in a careful and steady and safety manner going through obstacle circuits.

-The learners able to establish acceptance criteria in order to produce the required NDT media files for report generation.

Assumed Skills Knowledge / Entry Requirement

• At least 21 years old
• Minimum Secondary level education
• Minimum proficiency level of the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4

Pre-equisite of this course: You are required to have an UA Pilot Licence from CAAS

 

 

Course Overview

This course will establish drone based non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures. This includes interpreting codes, standards, specifications and procedures, as well as designating the particular drone based NDT methods, techniques and procedures to be used in confined space across industries.
