Occupational First Aid Course
Learning Outcome
At the end of the programme, you will be able to:
-Explain the duties and responsibilities of First Aider
-List the legal requirements under Workplace Safety and Health (First Aid) Regulations for the workplace
-Check and pack contents of First Aid Box
-Apply first aid to accident victims in the workplace
-Manage a medical emergency at the workplace
-Manage victims of *hazardous chemicals exposure
-Identify common workplace accidents requiring first aid treatment
For Whom
Any person interested in the first-aid training or have been assigned a WSH-related/ Supervisor role in the company. Must be physically/medically fit and able to render help to another individual during an emergency.
Assumed Skills Knowledge / Entry Requirement
-Learners must be above 18 years of age
-To have at least ES WPLN Level 5 & above or equivalent as otherwise
-Be physically able to perform CPR skills while kneeling on the floor
-Pregnant or with any medical history such as heart and joint issues should seek advice from their doctors prior to enrolling
Course Overview
A mandatory course for personnel who will be appointed as a workplace first aider. The course equips you with the relevant knowledge and skills in providing first aid and using CPR+AED. This course is also recognised as the CERT First Aider Course with CPR + AED.

Total:23.5 hours (20:50 training hours + 2:40 assessment hours)
